My Room

My room is my one and only domain where I carry out various leisure activities such as studying, watching films and television, listening to music, snacking, talking on the phone, surfing the net etc. This descriptive essay will describe and talk about my room in specific details.

As you enter my room you will find a blue door to my bathroom. After that, you will notice a blue wardrobe with a stylish design coated on it. In it, lie all my clothes, books and other belongings. Then on the other side of my room, a sleek black plasma television resides on the wall which reflects anything which touches the LCD screen. It is a pleasure watching my favourite television show or watching a Sunday night movie as it is so clear on the big screen of my television. Opposite that, is my bed which is again blue and on the left of my bed are blue curtains which cover the entrance to my balcony in which you get a view of Powai. You can say my room’s main theme is blue! I have chosen blue since I think it looks good and it’s my favourite colour.

On the wall where my bed is attached, is a framework of Arsenal, my favourite football team. It has all the players in the team on it with their names written on the side. Near my balcony is a big, dark blue beanbag. The purpose of it is to sit and relax while doing small activities like reading a book or eating a small snack. If I’m not sitting on it, then my phone is which would be charging most of the time on the beanbag since it’s close to my bed where I sleep. Parallel to my bean bag is my desk. It has a drawer with a lot of my files and a cupboard on top with my school books in it. It also has a blue sheet on the side so I can post bulletin papers in it like my schedule or a friend’s number. On my desk is my wallet, a lamp and an iPod dock which amplifies the sound of my iPod when plugged into it. It is silver in colour with a smooth, curved design that gives it an elegant look.
